From this I learned how to better construct my interview questions. Instead of asking a question that someone has the chance to end quickly you need to make them explain themselves at the same time. How does this affect me instead of, will this affect me.
i cant get it to open on my computer... so i'll try and do this at the studio tomorrow just so you know!
This interactive interview learning tool was very useful. It actually led me through the entire process of developing a number of questions to ask. It was interesting that they described it's better to listen an not talk. Which makes sense that the reporter is there to hear what the interviewee has to say, but I often catch myself talking to attempt to make my subject comfortable. But, in fact this only hinders my interview.
